These terms apply to the use of “Lucerna” (lucerna.care), a service of Privatarztpraxis R. Janušas OREME, Hauptstrasse 2, CH-9053 Teufen AR.

If there are warning signs of a medical emergency, the assessment refers you to the emergency number of the country you are in. In such a case, do not wait for the assessment but contact the emergency services immediately.
The contract is concluded when you submit the payment. Prices are in CHF, EUR, GBP or USD depending on location. The currency depends on the country from which you access Lucerna: Switzerland and Liechtenstein CHF, countries using the euro EUR, United Kingdom (incl. Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey) GBP, all other countries USD. The first perspective costs CHF 6.–, EUR 6.50, GBP 6.00 or USD 7.50, each additional perspective CHF 3.–, EUR 3.–, GBP 3.00 or USD 3.50 (a maximum of 10 perspectives per assessment, corresponding to the total number of perspectives offered). These are fixed prices, not conversions. The amount shown in the questionnaire and in the Stripe payment window before payment is binding; exactly this amount in this currency will be charged.
For voucher packages (family and company packages), the Supplementary Terms for Voucher Packages (voucher terms) also apply. Codes are valid for 3 months from purchase.
Payment is made in advance via the payment service provider Stripe (card and the payment methods PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and TWINT offered via Stripe (TWINT only for payments in CHF); these are processed exclusively via Stripe, there is no direct connection to these providers). For this purpose you are redirected to a secure payment page hosted by Stripe. The assessment is only produced after successful payment. Stripe’s terms of use also apply: stripe.com/de/legal.
You can withdraw within 14 days without giving reasons by e-mail to info@lucerna.care (model form); we will then refund the amount within 14 days using your original means of payment.
The assessment is produced automatically by artificial intelligence. We give no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of the assessment. You use Lucerna at your own risk. Liability for indirect or consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, or in the case of injury to life, body or health.

The optional booking of an online consultation takes place via the external booking system Acuity Scheduling and is the subject of a separate contract with Privatarztpraxis R. Janušas OREME. These terms govern only the AI-assisted initial assessment, not the medical consultation itself.
We may amend these terms with effect for the future. The version published at the time of your purchase applies.
Swiss law applies. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is Teufen AR / Appenzell Ausserrhoden. Mandatory consumer protection provisions and places of jurisdiction of your country of residence remain reserved.
